Every year Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict host Hands2Help charity drive.  I have completed and mailed my quilt to Happy Chemo.  The H2H project is winding down for another year.  Stop at Sarah's and see all the awesome quilts that is donated.

My Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2017 is moving very slow.  March's rainbow color was Red and April's color was Mixed colors.  I did get a few of these blocks sewn.

May's color is green.  My green Rainbow project is a baby quilt.  I will make the green challenge blocks at another time.

I have made another prayer quilt.  This make five for the year that I have given.  Way too many friends dealing with serious illnesses this year.

Multi Colors & Catching Up

This year has been an extremely busy year.  I have made four prayer quilts since January.  Here is number four and hopefully I will give it tomorrow to a very person.
I finally found the time to do some catching up on the scrappy rainbow colors.  In March the color was red and this month the color is multi colors.

I still need one more purple block.
The rest of April I will be sewing on the Rainbow orange peel blocks.

The other project that needs to be finished is these blocks.
There are seven star blocks and I have them finished.  There are 42 patch blocks and I still need 14 blocks.    The pattern is call Teaberry Stars.

January is Purple

Again this year Angela is hosting  Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2017.  Purple is the rainbow color for January.  This challenge is very inspiring seeing all the rainbow projects everyone is making with their scraps.  I have two different blocks I plan to make each month.  I am sure there will be other rainbow blocks as the year goes on.
The first block I am making is orange peels.

These blocks are a Moda Bake Shop pattern called A Ritzy Cracker Quilt.  If you want to take peek at the completed quilt you can see it here.

My plans are to make a quilt for a graduation gift.  Since the color choices for this Teaberry Star quilt is purples and blues.  I have made the purple stars.

Pat Sloan is hosting a winter Solstice block challenge.  These are my blocks for the challenge.  I plan to use them for QOV.

This is what I am sewing on at the moment.  It will be a prayer quilt for a young father with cancer.  He will be going through treatment most of 2017.
